Invisible Films is a multi-award winning independent film production company based in Hackney, East London. Founded in 2001 the company has produced short film, documentary and experimental film, all of which have been distributed with acclaim internationally via film and contemporary art festivals.

Invisible Films aims to go against the grain of the mainstream to create innovative films that are both poetic and entertaining, using humour and insight to nourish and inspire audiences.

Invisible Films has produced a wide variety of commissioned arts documentaries for the Arts Council of England, Creative Partnerships, Make Your Mark and The Helen Storey Foundation. These films aim to communicate thoughtful and poetic messages about people and their relationship to the arts, and have often been used as the catalysts for conversations leading to change and development in communities.

The company also has a strong track record in groundbreaking outreach work, introducing young people with a vast range of abilities and backgrounds to filmmaking through organisations such as Creative Partnerships and Hi8us South.
