Description:
In the second film a middle-aged woman escapes from herself by dancing
alone in the dark. When the music stops and the lights comes on, she slips
back into the trappings of her ordinary life, only to be rescued by the
interruption of magical piece of urban nature. In the last part of the triptych a redundant city worker in his 60s takes
a night bus into the 4am ghost town of London's financial centre. Once
there he lets himself into his old office and climbs onto the roof. There
above the clouds he sets up the tools he needs to conjure up the dawn,
and like a conductor he imagines he is responsible for the tuning up of
the city as it works its self up for another busy day.
